Promotion-winning Farsley Celtic have impressively captured very experienced centre-back Danny Ellis.
Ellis recently National League North outfit Harrogate Town following the club’s decision to go full-time.
The former Guiseley captain is a massive signing for the Celts.
Adam Lakeland told Farsley’s official website: ”To get a player of the quality of Danny is fantastic. We were clearly one of a number of clubs that have come in for Danny and I am so happy that he has signed on here with us at Farsley Celtic.
“There were other clubs that may have offered him a better package financially than we have been able to do so, but Danny has bought into what we are trying to do here at Farsley. He can see the progression we have planned for the football club and he has completely bought into it.
“The type of footballer that Danny is are a dying breed. He will give you everything on the pitch and win at all costs. We can’t wait to work with Danny as we look forward to the new season.”
