Shaw Lane AFC have tied their title-winning manager Craig Elliott to a new two-year deal.
The contract is fully deserves as Elliott has overseen tremendous success at Shaw Lane – three promotions and one Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.
He also won lots of praise for the way he managed the team through the tough time after the tragic death of defender Dan Wilkinson last September.
Because he also achieved success at Glasshoughton Welfare in the early stages of his managerial career, Elliott is arguably the most successful West Yorkshire-based Non League manager in recent memory.
His assistants John Reed and Darren Smith are also staying at Elliott’s side.
Shaw Lane have announced their striker Godwin Abadaki has re-signed for the club.
