Kerr to play for Worsbrough again

Young striker Brad Kerr is going to be back at Worsbrough Bridge next season.

Kerr began last season with Bridge, but he never returned to the side after picking up a bad injury in one of the early matches.

Rejoining Worsbrough gives him the chance to resurrect his Non League career which began so brightly in 2014 – where he turned in some impressive performances, good enough to earn a trial with Barnsley.

Josh Wright told Non League Yorkshire: “I’m delighted to get Brad in. He can be any defender’s worst nightmare when he’s fully tuned up. He’s had a long lay off so we’ll be working hard on his fitness.

“There’s no doubt in my mind that he can score goals in this league and link up well with the likes of Jack Mawson, Tom Guest, Rob Bordman and Ben Grech-Brooksbank.

“I will hopefully have one more over the line in the next few days, but for now it is a real coup to keep hold of Brad.”
