The Toolstation Northern Counties East League
There was a mixture of celebration and emotional at the annual Northern Counties East League conference at the Royal Hotel in Scarborough.
The AGM was a quick affair with nothing major said.
However, at the evening presentation night, Toolstation marketing director John Meaden announced that his company have extended their sponsorship of the NCEL for a further five years.
The deal is already known to be one of the best ever Non League has ever seen and considering how successful it has been, things can only get even better for the league and its club.
The emotional moments were when secretary Brian Gould was honoured. Mr Gould stood down as the league secretary after ten glorious years in the job. He was given a deserved minute-long standing ovation.
There was not a dry eye in the house during the speeches from league chairman David Morrall and then Mr Gould.
