Ossett Town manager Grant Black has spoken of his delight after getting his captain Alex Peterson to put pen-to-paper.
Peterson was a major part of the side that surprised by reaching the play-off final.
“I’m buzzing to have Alex signed up for another season, he has been targeted by other clubs but him deciding to stay with us is a massive achievement for the club,” Non League Yorkshire manager of the year Black said.
“To have a player of his calibre wanting to stay is massive, his attitude and desire to perform individually and as a team is fantastic to see and his a captain who leads by example.
“As a manager I am over the moon to be working with such a great professional and again I feel he is a player who will get back to where he has been at Championship level.”
