More of Armthorpe Welfare’s squad have given commitment to manager Mike Carmody that they will stay with the club for the forthcoming campaign.
The players concerned are Craig Morley, Stuart Preston and Tom McLaughlin with all three extending already lengthy spells at the club.
Morley is an experienced central defender who made an impact towards the end of last season when pressed into action as a striker after a while out of the side.
Preston is an experienced forward who has played higher level football for Frickley Athletic and Harrogate Town, whilst McLaughlin is a skilful winger who was unfortunate with injuries towards the end of last season.
Carmody said: “It’s another welcome boost for the club to see three more very experienced players committing to the club.
Stuart and Craig have been at the club for a long time playing in some good Armthorpe teams.
“They bring a wealth of experience and know the levels I’ll be looking for this season.
“Having Tom back involved will be a bonus as he’s one who can change a game at any time. We were unfortunate to lose Tom through a nasty injury during last season’s run in so I’m looking forward to having him available for selection again.”
