New Selby Town manager Christian Fox with Pete Lawrie
Top goalkeeper Pete Lawrie has been announced as the first player to commit to the brave new era under Christian Fox at Selby Town.
It is not a surprise as former Pickering Town and Tadcaster Albion stopper Lawrie is very passionate about playing for Selby.
Fox said: “Pete kept 12 clean sheets in 32 appearances last season and we were keen to retain his services for next season as we see him as a very valuable player for this football club.
“He was consistently one of the best players and is a leader on and off the pitch.”
Good Start. Pete was fantastic last season, so it’s nice to retain him.
