Two Ollerton Town players, plus a Selby Town midfielder, have agreed to sign for Armthorpe Welfare.

It takes the number of new faces to five as Will Ramsay and Josh O’Neill have already committed to play for Mike Carmody’s men.

The new lads are striker Josh Bowkett, midfielder Josh Dodd and Selby midfielder Wayne Brook.

Carmody said: “I’m delighted to secure the services of Wayne Brook, Josh Dodd and Josh Bowkett. The two Josh’s are players who I’ve watched closely over the last few months of last season and to get them on board is very welcome news.

“Bowkett is a very attacking player who has great quality on the ball, makes fantastic runs off the ball and will add goals.

“Dodd is a such a comfortable footballer who makes the game look easy at times. He is very good in possession and always keeps the ball moving. I look forward to working with them both.

“I’ve worked with Wayne at each of the clubs I’ve managed at so I rate him very highly. He is a player that likes to get on the ball and dictate play, he has an excellent range of passing and can play a few different roles.

“Wayne has good NCEL experience having played for a number of clubs at this level and I’m very happy he’s decided to join us.”
