Jordan Armstrong has left Tadcaster Albion

Jordan Armstrong has brought the curtain down on his Tadcaster Albion career for the second time because of work commitments.

Armstrong, who was Tadcaster’s young player of the year for the 2015/16 season, originally left last summer for the same reason.

However, he was brought back last November when then-manager Billy Miller had a major injury crisis.

“I’m unable to commit to the club next season due to building my coaching business and the new training schedule in York is two hours from my house,” Armstrong told Tadcaster’s official website.

“I would just like to thank Billy, Heathy (Matt Heath), Lorro (Richard Lawrence), the fans, the owners and everyone at the club for the past two seasons.

Winning the Northern Counties East League, Young Player of the Year in my first season and getting to two cup finals has been a great experience for me and I wish Mikey (Morton) and Si (Collins) all the best for next season.”
