The Toolstation NCEL have announced that Shaw Lane AFC are to ground-share with Athersley Rec.
The deal was firmly confirmed over the weekend, days after it was revealed in the Barnsley Chronicle that one has been agreed in principle.
Evo Stik Division One South champions Shaw Lane have been searching for a new home since the Barnsley Rugby Club announced that they wanted to end their ground-share agreement with them.
The Ducks are expected to oversee improvements to Sheerian Park to ensure the ground meets National League ground-grading requirements.
Shaw Lane and Athersley Rec have yet to publicly confirm the ground-share.
