New Worsbrough Bridge goalkeeper Richard Watson
Former Barton Town Old Boys goalkeeper Richard Watson has joined Worsbrough Bridge.
He replaces Aiden Tyas, whose destination is unclear as his planned move to Parkgate is understood to be not going ahead.
Watson has played for a variety of NCEL clubs including Pontefract Collieries, Athersley Rec and Nostell Miners Welfare.
Worsbrough stalwart Jared Oxley will act as goalkeeping coach and backup for Watson.
Josh Wright told Non League Yorkshire: “He’s a towering goalkeeper and really impressed us in training with both his ability and attitude.
“This is off the back of Aiden Tyas moving on. Jared Oxley will also be registered which will give competition in the goalkeeping department.”
