Toolstation NCEL Premier Division

New Harrogate Railway striker Jason Price

New Harrogate Railway manager Liam Gray has lured former Doncaster Rovers striker Jason Price out of semi-professional football retirement.

Price has spent the last few years playing for the world famous Harrogate Veterans team. He last appeared on the semi-circuit at the end of the 2013-14 season when he helped Brighouse Town clinch the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division title.

Prior to also playing Non League football for Selby Town and Shaw Lane, 40-year-old Price was a well known Football League striker.

Price played in one of Doncaster Rovers’ most successful teams, while also becoming a cult hero at Hull City and Swansea City.

Railway boss Gray has spoken to the Harrogate Advertiser about his first signing.
