Former Nostell Miners Welfare man Scott Smith has won a contract with Guiseley

Former Nostell Miners Welfare attacker Scott Smith has won a contract with National League side Guiseley.

Smith, brother of fellow striker Steve, played for Nostell during the Paul Lines, Kev Allsop and Graham Nicholas eras.

He joined the club as part of a deal with Guiseley which saw the Lions lend Nostell a number of academy players – including Will Wells, who has also earned a contract with Guiseley.

Smith has been with the Guiseley academy since 2015.
