New Worsbrough Bridge captain Chris Walton
Midfielder Chris Walton is the new captain of Worsbrough Bridge following the departure of fans’ favourite Connor Rollinson.
Rollinson left to join Glasshoughton a few days ago. Walton, previously of Wombwell Main, joined Bridge earlier this summer.
Josh Wright told Non League Yorkshire: “He’ll be massive for us this season.
“He’s proven to be a real driving force already during pre-season. He’s been outstanding. All the lads really respect him.”
Young centre-back Joe Singleton is to remain as vice-captain.
