Frickley Athletic manager Spencer Fearn with Jack Burton
Spencer Fearn is giving under 19s academy graduate Jack Burton another chance to impress with Frickley Athletic’s first team.
Midfielder Burton played 14 times for Frickley’s Evo Stik side last season and Fearn has been impressed him with in pre-season.
Fearn said: ”We are pleased to have another good young player signed. He works very hard and has done well during pre-season.
“It’s always pleasing to see players come through Academy system and join up with the first team.
“Mick (Thompson) does a cracking job with the under 19’s as does Darren Greene and his coaches with the younger age groups.”
Frickley have also announced that Laura Miller is the club’s new commercial director.
Laura has worked in sport for over 15 years, including at a Championship club. She now runs her own business in the industry.
