New Glasshoughton Welfare striker Élie Jr. Akobeto
A young French striker has bolstered Glasshoughton Welfare’s attack after signing for the Leeds Road club.
Élie Jr. Akobeto signed forms following Glasshoughton’s 4-1 defeat to Coventry United yesterday.
The Loughborough University student has been on the books of Bolton Wanderers, Hyde United and Mansfield Town since moving to the UK a few years ago.
Lee Vigars told Non League Yorkshire: “It is a real coup for the club to get someone of his quality to the club.”
