Worsbrough Bridge manager Josh Wright has completed building his squad with a week to go before his club’s season starts.
Ossett Town defender Dan Monfredi, the former Garforth Town and Athersley Rec centre-half, has arrived with the Evo Stik club wanting him to gain match fitness after overcoming a serious injury. He is expected to return to Ingfield at some point.
Midfielder Calum Stapleton has also joined. The former Kinsley Boys man was in the promotion-winning Pontefract Collieries squad last season.
Wright told Non League Yorkshire: “Dan coming to Worsbrough is perfect for both parties as it allows him to get back to full fitness ready for Ossett, while we get a great player for the next few months.
“Calum Stapleton is a great signing. He’ll add that bite in to midfield and he is a really good passer of a ball.”
Simon Chadburn, who was a key player at the end of last season, has dual-registered.
