Toolstation NCEL Division One
AFC Emley
It is a season of transition for AFC Emley. The iconic sight of long-serving boss Darren Hepworth coming out for matches at the Welfare Ground and shaking hands with all the supporters stood in front of the stand next to the wall is no more. His assistant Joe Howson is now head honcho and is leading a brand new side.
Who’s the Boss
Joe Howson
Howson has been given his first chance of being a number one in the NCEL having spent the last two seasons as Darren Hepworth’s assistant. Prior to that he enjoyed successful running Emley’s development team.

The goalkeeper was always excellent for Eccleshill and Howson’s decision to sign him is a wise move as Emley’s defence know they have a solid goalkeeper behind them.
