Former Ossett Albion goalkeeper Brett Souter, who now plays for Sheffield FC

Grant Black’s great Ossett Town team are through in the Emirates FA Cup after beating the world’s oldest club Sheffield FC 2-0.

A first half own goal from former Ossett Albion goalkeeper Brett Souter paved the path to the first qualifying round.

Their new defender Josh Snowden got the second goal.

Pontefract Collieries were beaten by a last minute goal in the 2-1 defeat to Evo Stik side Skelmersdale United. Eli Hey did give Pontefract a two-minute lead. 

Tadcaster Albion lost 1-0 to Colne.

Ossett Albion were defeated 4-3 in an epic battle with Droylsden at Dimple Wells. Jimmy Eyles (2) and James Hurtley hit the target for Albion.

Michael Coulson found the net for Scarborough Athletic in the 1-1 stalemate with Marske United.

Stocksbridge Park Steels suffered major traffic problems on their way to North Wales which contributed to their defeat at Colwyn Bay.
