Knaresborough maintain perfect start

Knaresborough Town kept hold of top spot after securing win six out of six with the 3-0 defeat of East Yorkshire Carnegie at Manse Lane.

Blaine Hobson, Tom Hesketh and Greg Kidd got the goals for Knaresborough.

Yorkshire Amateur remain in hot pursuit in the second place following the impressive 5-1 demolition of Shirebrook Town.

Fernando Moke (2), Daniel Naidole, Ash Flynn and T’nique Fishley hit the target for the free-scoring side.

Campion won 3-0 at Retford Town to climb to third – Danny Brown, Leon Hurles-Brook and Talent Ndlovu got the goals.

Rossington Main continued their solid start to the season with the 4-0 win over Ollerton Town.

Declan Howe got two, with Jason Stokes and Callum Wiffen completing the victory.

Swallownest were battered 5-0 at FC Bolsover, while Eccleshill United were defeated 4-3 by Grimsby Borough.

Nostell Miners Welfare lost 1-0 at Dronfield Town.
