The old Bradford (Park Avenue) Sunday Team is to play a BPA supporters’ team to raise money for Marie Currie tomorrow (Sunday).

There will also former player and current director of football Terry Dolan taking part, along with academy boss Alex Meechan and first team manager Mark Bower.

Among the raffle prizes is Huddersfield Town memorabilia signed by the current Premier League squad.

The old Avenue Sunday team kept the club’s name alive after it folded in 1974. Had they not existed, it is reasonable to say that Avenue may not have reformed in 1988.
