Shaw Lane AFC climbed back to the top of the Premier Division table after beating Workington 3-2 in Barnsley.
Alex Byrne’s 72nd minute winner was ultimately the difference for Shaw Lane who were pegged back twice from goals from Paul Clayton and Damian Reeves.
Brighouse Town picked their third win of the season with the 4-2 victory over Ossett Albion.
