Midfield dynamo Tom Claisse has returned to home territory after signing for promotion-chasing Yorkshire Amateur.
Claisse, whose hometown is Leeds, recently left Ossett Albion, is a huge signing for the Ammers because of his vast experience in the Evo Stik.
He is also plays for the prestigious Combined Services football team.
Because of his work with the RAF, Claisse has played for a variety of teams in the past few years including Farsley Celtic, Tadcaster Albion, Handsworth Parramore and Pickering Town.
Neil Sibson told Non League Yorkshire: “We’re delighted to bring Tom in, he’s going to be a massive asset.
“His experience is phenomenal and the fact he plays in the Combined Services team shows that he’s a top player.”
Development player Sam Walker-Haines has also signed forms.
