New Maltby Main right-back Jed McGowan
Maltby Main have signed Parkgate’s highly-rated young right-back Jed McGowan.
He could make his debut for Maltby in the trip to Bottesford Town on Saturday. McGowan has been a mainstay of the Parkgate team for a while and he was a major part of their successful survival bid last season.
An under-strength Parkgate side lost 4-2 at home to Albion Sports last night.
Brad Kerr and Danny Harris got Parkgate’s goal. Omar Habeeb, Rhys Jenkinson and Redmond Lee (2) masterminded Albion’s victory.
