Thackley shrugged off their recent poor form to win 4-2 and become the first team to defeat Pickering Town in the league this season.
The Bradford-based side had to recover from a disastrous start which saw Ryan Blott net in the third minute for Pickering.
Daniel Broadbent (2), Joe Hughes and Matthew Broadley led Thackley to victory.
Joe Danby scored a late consolation for the Pikes.
Jon Froggatt’s early strike was enough for Handsworth Parramore in the win at Liversedge. Brandon Kane missed a penalty for ‘Sedge as he hit the crossbar.
Ross Shelton’s Parkgate went down 1-0 at Staveley Miners Welfare.
