Despite a heroic performance, it was not to be for Ossett Town as it will be Solihull Moors who will host League Two side Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup first round proper.
Two first goals were enough for Solihull, who had to endure a nervy finale as Ossett desperately tried to snatch a dramatic last gasp equaliser.
Ossett were undone by Joel Kettle’s eighth minute goal and Solihull captain Darren Carter’s penalty on the stroke of half-time.
Ossett captain Alex Peterson’s late header presented hope, but despite their best efforts, there was no equaliser.
