Danny South hit the early winner as Ossett Town showed their strength by defeating leaders Bamber Bridge.
Grant Black’s brilliant side remain a few places down from the play-offs, but with multiple games-in-hand because of their fabulous Emirates FA Cup, Ossett are well-placed to fly up the table very soon.
Although South stole the headlines because he turned home a cross to score the only goal, Ossett’s goalkeeper Leigh Overton was certainly their star man.
Throughout the game, he made a series of magnificent saves to deny the league leaders.
After riding out the storm, Ossett were denied a second goal late-on as Anthony Mackie had a shot saved and South had a header cleared off-the-line.
