NLY Community Sport’s Multi-Sports Fun Day for children with disabilities and learning difficulties was a big success.

On Sunday afternoon, nine took part in the action-packed bumper session which was held at the fabulous Denhale ARC – the home of Disability Sport Yorkshire.

Sports included on the day were dodgeball, football and basketball. Participants were rewarded with a medal and certificate at the end.

Connor Rollinson, who ran the day with James Grayson, said: “We’re delighted with how things went.

“It is the first time that we ran these kind of Fun Days as NLY Community Sport and it could not have gone any better.

“Everyone enjoyed it and they also enjoyed using the fantastic facilities which are available at Denhale.”
