Brett Lucas sealed Selby Town’s victory at Campion
Selby Town continue to march on after a superb 2-0 victory at fellow high-flyers Campion.
Christian Fox and his side, who are continually defying their critics, are now fourth and enjoying the club’s best start to a season in a number of years.
They even had several players missing – including Liam Flanagan and captain marvel Ryan Gothard. Selby had also been hit with the departure of Brad Freer earlier in the week.
In their latest conquest, second half goals from star man Joe Dale and Brett Lucas led them to victory.
Amthorpe Welfare’s clash at Swallownest was abandoned after just ten minutes play following an injury to the home side’s goalkeeper James King.
Nostell Miners Welfare went down 2-0 at Ollerton Town.
AFC Emley lost 2-1 at Winterton Rangers.
