Chris Lever hit a magnificent hat-trick as Eccleshill United came back from 2-0 down to end leaders Knaresborough Town’s unbeaten record with a memorable 5-2 victory.

In an action-paced encounter, Eccleshill actually had the chance to take the lead from the penalty spot in the tenth minute, but Luke Harrop’s effort was saved.

Knaresborough responded by taking command through goals from Will Lenehan and Brad Walker.

However, it did not go to plan for the Manse Laners as Lever, Andy Cooper and Antony Brown guided Eccleshill to victory and up to third.

Hallam remain in eighth as Mitch Dunne and Sam Fewkes earned them a 2-0 win over Retford United.

AFC Emley beat Brigg Town 5-2 at the Welfare Ground.

Selby Town lost 3-1 at home to East Yorkshire Carnegie. Charlie Clamp got Selby’s goal.

Jamie Miller gave Nostell Miners Welfare the lead against Winterton Rangers, but unfortunately the Wakefield-based team lost 5-1.
