Stocksbridge Park Steels hung on for all three points in a game which saw them cruising to victory until George Grayson was sent off.

The Evo Stik South clash at Bracken Moor was action-packed.

Because star man Joe Lumsden hit two and Brodie Litchfield got one in the opening 39 minutes, the job looked done for the Steels.

However, Grayson’s red card for lunge – a decision that divided – opened a doorway for Kidsgrove.

Tom France pulled a goal back close to half-time for Kidsgrove, who had Jonathan Beaumont sent off for an elbow in the 50th minute.

Anthony Malbon set up the nervy finish, but Steels weren’t to be denied.
