Marlon Adams, the manager of West Yorkshire League heavyweights Field AFC, has been given the go-ahead to take charge of the Harrogate Railway first team.
Adams, the former boss of Lower Hopton, leaves Field after just a few months in charge.
His name appearing on the NCEL circuit is not a surprise as he was a serious candidate for the Nostell post in the summer before Des Hazel was appointed.
Railway are now back in the groove after winning their first match in a long time after beating Albion Sports on Saturday.
He will be assisted by Lee Ryan along with coaches Michael Reynolds and Ray Green.
A statement on the club’s website said: “These men have shown great desire to become the next management team at Harrogate Railway.
“We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them and we look forward to working with them to forge a new and successful future for the club.”
