Billy Fox, who has enjoyed success with a few NCEL clubs, is the new manager of Parkgate.
He replaces Ross Shelton, who stepped down after less than four weeks in permanent charge on Saturday following the 6-0 defeat to Thackley – one of Fox’s former clubs.
Fox is best known for guiding Staveley Miners Welfare to the FA Vase semi-finals in 2012. Fox was most recently the manager of Clipstone until earlier this year.
Parkgate chairman Albert Dudill said: “It’s been a hectic twenty-four hours or so since Ross Shelton stepped down on Saturday evening, but I’m delighted to welcome Billy to the Club.
“He brings a wealth of footballing experience to Parkgate and I’m hoping he can get us moving up the table.
“I’d like to thank everyone who expressed an interest in the job-we had some high calibre applicants- and I’d also like to thank all those people who offered to help us in any number of ways.”
