Midfielder Adam Hayton scored a hat-trick as high-flying Hemsworth Miners Welfare won 4-2 at Bridlington Town.
Hayton struck twice in the first half – with the second goal being the pick of the bunch. Danny Buttle pulled one back before half-time, but the Wells stretched their lead midway through the second half. Perennial goal-scorer Nash Connolly got the third and Hayton sealed his treble from the penalty spot.
Lewis Dennison reduced the deficit even further.
Harrogate Railway lost 3-0 to Staveley Miners Welfare at Station View, while Thackley were unlucky to be beaten 2-1 at AFC Mansfield.
