Hemsworth Miners Welfare legend Lee Swift has signed for Nostell
The signing of two-time promotion-winner Lee Swift by new Nostell Miners Welfare joint managers Jason Dodsworth and Simon Houghton sends out a clear message that the pair mean business.
The Hemsworth Miners Welfare legend has signed for Nostell and is likely to be an influential figure in the pair’s survival plan. He is the first to sign on the dotted line since they replaced Des Hazel.
Midfielder Swift won promotion out of Division One with Shaw Lane AFC in 2014 and Hemsworth in 2016.
Dodsworth and Houghton have also recruited centre-back Eddie Hague, formerly of Athersley Rec and Wakefield FC.
