Joe Lumsden scoring in Stocksbridge’s 2-2 draw at Newcastle Town
Joe Lumsden struck twice, but Stocksbridge Park Steels were only able to manage a 2-2 draw at Newcastle Town.
The Steels led both times in the clash. Todd Jordan set up the opener with a fine cross which key man Lumsden headed home.
Newcastle equalised before the break with their first shot of the game.
In-form Brodie Litchfield supplied Lumsden with his second goal straight after the interval.
However, it was not to be for the Steels as Newcastle levelled again.
Frickley Athletic drew 3-3 with Romulus – Danny Frost, Cameron Hough and Jacob Hazel were on the score-sheet.
