Former Nostell striker Connor Presley has won a new contract at San Antonio FC
Former Nostell Miners Welfare starlet Connor Presley has won a new deal at American outfit San Antonio FC.
American Presley spent a lot of last season at Nostell. He was in the UK hoping to secure a work permit and a professional football contract.
He impressed for Nostell in a struggling side. His most memorable moment was scoring a hat-trick in the 3-0 demolition of Eccleshill United.
His San Antonio coach Darren Powell said: “Connor is an exciting young prospect from the local area.
“He joined us late last season but he showed a great deal of potential in training and in the moments he got during matches. We feel he’ll impact this team positively in 2018 once he gets a good pre-season under his belt.”
