West Riding County Cup
Holders Farsley Celtic and last season’s runners-up Tadcaster Albion both reached the semi-finals last night.
Farsley won 3-2 in an epic tie at Campion thanks to a 94th minute header from Danny Ellis – moments after Campion had equalised to seemingly send the clash to a penalty shootout.
The match came alive late in the second half. Leon Hurles-Brook had given Campion a first half lead.
Nathan Cartman equalised with 15 minutes to go and within moments Nathan Turner placed them ahead.
Tadcaster had to come from behind to beat Guiseley 2-1. The Brewers are through thanks to first half goals from Casey Stewart and Aiden Savory.
The other two semi-finalists are Selby Town and Pontefract Collieries.
