Senior players Paddy McGuire and Mike Garrod are the new joint managers of Thackley after Chris Reape stepped down.
Reape has stood down because of personal commitments, while his assistant Andy Patterson has quit because of a change in his work arrangements.
McGuire and Garrod, who will be assisted by former Bradford City striker Joe Brown,
Thackley said: “Mike is a highly respected player and coach who currently works with the Academy set up at Guiseley while Pat has a wealth of experience around the non-league scene and played professionally at Bradford City.
“They are joined by Joe Brown who also played professional football at Bradford City. Mike and Pat intend to continue as players and Joe, who is currently on the injured list, will be in the dugout.
“We look forward to a new era under this youthful set up and we are confident that they are the right team to take the club forward.”
Reape, who steered Thackley to a surprise fifth-placed finish last season, ended his reign with the 4-3 defeat at fellow strugglers Harrogate Railway on Saturday.
On his and Patterson’s departure, Thackley said: “The club wish to put on record their appreciation and thanks for what they have done since taking over the reins at a time when the club was struggling both on and off the field.
“They guided the team out of the doldrums and last year achieved a record number of points in the League. Along the way we have enjoyed many memorable moments and they will be sorely missed.
“We respect their decision and wish them both the very best in all they do in the future. They are very welcome back at Dennyfield at any time.”
