Kai Hancock in battle with Garforth’s Ryan Donoghue last season for Athersley
Young forward Kai Hancock is back at Athersley Rec after ending his six-month stay at Evo Stik side Ossett Town.
Hancock scored over 30 goals for the Rec last season so his return will be massively celebrated.
The youngster has done well for Ossett, but after getting sent off at Brighouse Town after Christmas, he missed four games and has been unable to break back into Lee Ashforth’s side.
Hancock’s homecoming was postponed as the clash with Pontefract Collieries was beaten by the weather.
