Declan Howe scored a dramatic 96th minute winner for Goole AFC
Declan Howe’s dramatic 96th minute winner fired never-say-die Goole AFC to a massive 3-2 victory at Brighouse Town.
Goole fought back from 2-0 down to claim a win which puts them just three points behind second-bottom Ossett Albion.
Brighouse thought they were on course for victory after two goals in either half from Aaron Martin.
Carl Stewart brought Goole back into it with a stunning long range free kick.
Sam Colbear levelled matters on the hour with a header.
It was heading for a draw until Howe had the last word.
Ossett Town lost 1-0 to Radcliffe Borough.
What a comeback from the vikings the great escape very much on now, terrific spirit shown and full credit to the gaffer for chaging the formation and making the double sub at 2 down, good old fashioned game played on pudding of a pitch both teams giving everything pleasure to watch
