Threadbare and ten man Ossett Town secured a memorable 2-0 victory at Ramsbottom United.

Ossett effectively had only eleven fit players. Manager Lee Ashforth and assistant Steve Nicholson were named as substitutes.

It like looked mission impossible when defender Kane Bingley saw red after collecting two yellow cards.

However, Jason Yates and Charlie Freeman scored in the second half to secure three points for Ashforth’s men.

Scarborough Athletic drew 0-0 at Bamber Bridge. Ossett Albion and Prescot Cables finished with the same score-line.

Colwyn Bay put four past Brighouse Town without reply.
