Champions-elect Knaresborough Town are just seven points away from clinching promotion after the 4-0 win over Retford United.

Having only conceded 18 goals so far this season in the league, Knaresborough will surely get promotion and the title wrapped up very soon. If results go their way this week, the party could be at Hallam or Selby Town in the next seven days.

Two first half goals from Brad Walker and Matthew Donnelly and two in the second from Steve Bromley and Sam Cook secured Knaresborough their latest win.

Eccleshill United remain in control of their own destiny and of second place following a 2-0 victory at Rossington Main. Luke Harrop and Charlie Flaherty were on target for Eccleshill.

Yorkshire Amateur’s pursuit of a top two finish is tailing off as they lost 1-0 at Winterton Rangers.

Sam Smith’s hat-trick guided play-offs chasing Hallam to a 5-0 victory at FC Bolsover. Will Saxon and James Reed also found the net.

Alex Lill and Jason Short saw Swallownest to a 2-0 win over Nostell Miners Welfare.

Campion lost 4-2 at home to Shirebrook Town – Graham Hall and Talent Ndlovu scored for Campion.
