Aaron Martin’s hat-trick secured Brighouse Town a superb 4-3 win at Ossett Town, easing their relegation fears.
Brighouse gave themselves a fantastic base having raced into a 3-1 lead inside the opening 15 minutes. Martin got two of them, with Oliver Crowley also hitting the target – Anthony Mackie struck for Ossett during that period.
Martin Pembleton then scored a great free kick for Ossett in the 22nd minute. This how it remained until late-on when Martin completed his treble. Alex Peterson gave Ossett late hope in stoppage time.
Ossett Albion were held to a goal-less draw at Ramsbottom United.
