Litchfield was the main man in Stocksbridge’s 4-2 win over Bedworth United. Joe Lumsden also found the net for the Steels.
In the North, Scarborough Athletic dramatically took a giant leap towards promotion. The Seadogs were losing 1-0 at Colwyn Bay, but two quick-fire late goals from Max Wright and Jerome Slew secured a vital win.
There were a late flurry of goals in the 2-2 draw between Ossett Albion and Tadcaster Albion. Scott Metcalfe and Adam Chippendale had appeared to put Ossett on course for victory, but Casey Stewart denied them with a double.
