Campion have given themselves a great chance of claiming an FA Cup place after rounding off their second season in the NCEL with a deserved 3-1 win at Selby Town.
Campion will finish either seventh or eighth which could be good enough for them to play in the Cup for the first time in their history next season – a fine achievement for the Bradford-based club.
Devonte Morton gave them an early lead after breaching Selby’s backline.
Magic man Joe Dale struck a wonder goal into the top corner to equalise for Selby and ensure the scores were level at half-time.
A bit of head tennis led to Danny Cunningham restoring Campion’s lead on the hour mark.
That took the sting out of Selby and Morton would wrap things up after breaking clear.
