Pontefract Collieries have been confirmed as champions after Pickering Town were held to a goal-less draw at Staveley Miners Welfare.
It means the Colls can go into their last two matches at Staveley and Athersley Rec with 100 points on the board and with absolutely no pressure on them.
Pickering’s hopes are on a knife-edge as they face a tough trip to in-form Barton Town on Thursday night followed by Saturday’s clash at Hall Road Rangers.
Paul Marshall’s men simply have to win both games to take second place and pip AFC Mansfield.
