The highly-rated Alex Byrne is among three players who have announced their departures from Shaw Lane AFC in the last few days.
The attacker joined the Ducks from Northwich Victoria in August 2016 and immediately set the world alight with a series of stunning displays, so much so that Barnsley were interested in him.
He leaves the Ducks with a brilliant goal record of 28. Byrne is attending the Jamie Vardy V9 academy during the summer and will then hope to impress scouts.
Also leaving is striker Damian Reeves (Gainsborough Trinity) and captain Spencer Harris.
