Former Brighouse Town and Shaw Lane AFC boss Paul Quinn is the new assistant manager of Ossett United.
He will work under Andy Welsh, the Ossett manager, during the club’s inaugural campaign as a merged club.
Quinn, who works for the Football Association, enjoyed six hugely years at Brighouse before stepping down last year. He had a brief stint as Craig Elliott’s replacement at Shaw Lane last season.
Welsh said: “What excites me most about the opportunity to work with Paul is we hit it off straight away from our outlooks on the Evo Stik League, player recruitment, formations, etc.
“After the first conversation he wanted to be alongside me on the first steps of this exciting new project and the opportunity to build, not just for one season but something that is going to be sustainable for years to come. This is something we can now focus on building for Ossett United.”
