Former Nostell Miners Welfare chairman Simon Turfrey has taken up the same position at Liversedge, who have also added new members to manager Jonathan Rimmington’s backroom team.
Turfrey, who has also served Ossett Town, Ossett Albion and Wakefield FC in boardroom roles, will co-ordinate the various footballing activities as the club strives to become an Evo Stik League club.
The club have also created two new under 19s and under 23s teams which in turn has seen Terry Bates, Dave Donald and former Ossett Albion boss Dave Haley join the club.
Donald and Haley will also be working under Rimmington and his assistant Simon Emery.
Turfrey said “I am happy to be joining Liversedge FC and look forward to working with its committee, football people and volunteers whom have worked tirelessly to keep the club in the position it’s in.”
